You can be entirely open and love all the way even if there’s no one to receive it, even if it’s not well received—beyond all ideas, beyond how you think it should be received. Love has no needs. Love is its own end.

Never belong to the herd even as you sit and move with them, and love them.

Sākṣi (witness) is not a "state".
It is the experiential awareness that all states are just as much a part of the dream regardless of whatever purpose they may or may not serve in phenomenal reality.
