All sorts of signaling are midwit and indicate a lack of courage to be accountable; a lack of faith so to speak. No exceptions.
In life, you are either all in or you aren't.
There's no halfway.
You can either keep trying to be smart to save your imaginary pride or be sincere.
Really as simple as that.

Never belong to the herd even as you sit and move with them, and love them.

Sākṣi (witness) is not a "state".
It is the experiential awareness that all states are just as much a part of the dream regardless of whatever purpose they may or may not serve in phenomenal reality.
